H.M.A.S. "Australia." Royal Australian Navy HMAS Australia was flagship of the 2nd Battle Cruiser Squadron patrolling the North Sea .

Son of S. J. and E. M. Ward, of Asher and Waratah Streets, Newcastle, New South Wales.

Died on this date – 12th May.... Theodore Gordon Jennings Ward was born on 30th May, 1895 at Fairfield, NSW. He joined the Royal Australian Navy on 4th August, 1914 for a period of 5 years.

Theodore Gordon Jennings Ward joined H.M.A.S. Cerberus on 4th August, 1914 as Stoker 2nd Class.
