Albert Edward KNAGGS was born in Bristol, England on 12th August, 1881

His parents were Henry Stephen KNAGGS & Louisa ALDERMAN

He married Sarah Ann SHAW in Bristol, UK in 1905

Albert was taken prisoner of war by the Turks on 30th April, 1915 and died of Illness on 22nd October, 1916

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial and the Ballarat Prisoner of War Memorial
