Lorna was the second of three children of Maurice John Kenndey (born in Brunswick, Victoria) and Mary Ursula Stone (born in Geraldton, Western Australia). Lorna as living in Balcatta, Perth, WA and working as a Shop Assistant when she enlisted in the RAAF in 1942. Lorna was a Corporal (SErvice No: 99597) with Laverton Transit Departure and Reception Centre and was Discharged in 1947
Following her Discharge from the RAAF, Lorna lived and worked in Perth WA and married Danile Lawsen Tangney in Perth, WA in 1954. Lorna and Daniel moved to Midland Junction where Daniel died in 1955. Lorna died in Mount lawly, Perth WA in 1986
