Squadron Leader Saunders 406960 / O5816 was killed when Mustang A68-42 crashed at the Green Hills Gunnery Range in NSW - the court of inquiry file has photos and maps of the aftermath of the incident.  Squadron Leader Saunders was the Commanding Officer (CO) of Number 22 Squadron at the time of the loss
