Over the course of his 40 year career, Brigadier Scott has been a member of both the Regular Army and Army Reserve and his operational experience includes deployments to Fiji, Somalia, and Afghanistan.
His commitment to duty has been recognised with a Conspicuous Service Cross, Commendation for Distinguished Service, US Legion of Merit and Land Command Commendation.
Bruce is an avid sportsman, having represented Australia in rifle shooting at the Commonwealth Games, winning Gold in the 2006 Games and remains deeply involved as the Director of Shooting Australia.
