Harry was the only child of Aubrey Charles Crocker (born 1897 in Deloraine, Tasmania) and Edith Henrietta Kate Owen (born 1899 in Mersey, Tasmania). Aubrey and Edith married in Melbourne, Victoria in 1922 following Aubrey's return from service in WWI (Private - Service No: 343 with 40th Infantry Battalion).
In February 1943 Harry was seriously injured when the car he was driving overturned at Gravelly Beach. He had five passengers in the car, including future wife Meg Trethewie.
Harry served in the RAAF with 9 Stores Depot as a Leading Aurcraftman (Service No:88744) and was Discharged in May 1945. Harry's uncle Victor Stanley Amiel Crocker served in WWII with the ACMF as a Signalman (Service No: T34307) with Lines of Communication Signals (7 May 1942 - 25 June 1945).
Harry and Gladys (Meg)Margaret Trethewie (born 1925 in Evandale, Tasmania) married in 1946 in St Leonard's in Launceston, Tasmania. They settled in Evandale, Tasmania where Harry was a Farmer, and were Divorced in 1961.
Harry married again in 1983 in Carrick Tasmania to Bernice (Liz) Elizabeth Crocker (born 1928 in Deloraine, Tasmania). Liz, a Registered Nurse, died in 2011 and Harry in 2001.
