Albert was the youngest of seven children of Peter Harvey (born 1866 in Ipswich, QLD) and second wife Malvina Mary Ann Finch (born 1874 in Ipswich, QLD). Peter and Malvina (Peter's Sister-in-Law) married in 1896 (nine months after Elizabeth's death) in Ipswich, QLD, where they raised eleven children. Peter was a Labourer, Carter and Storeman.
Albert, a Labourer, married Amelia Christina Guse (born 1907 in Ipswich, QLD) in 1935 in Ipswich. Albert enlisted in the RAAF in January 1943, serving as a Leading Aircraftman (Service No:123232) with 9 Airfield Construction Squadron, He was Discharged in January 1946. Brother-in-Law Ernest James Munt (Service Nos:8954, Q187592) served in both Wars, and cousin Mervyn Samuel Molloy (Service No:QX58592/Q128385) served in WWII.
Albert and Amelia continued to Live in Ipswich, QLD, where Albert worked as a Labourer. Amelia died in 1999 and Albert in 2009.
