Biography contributed by Sarah Miller
Ada was born at Crookwell in 1888. She is the daughter of Charles Willis and Mary Irvine/Irving.
Ada was Matron at Bega Hospital before she enlisted. She enlisted shortly after her brother Frank Lindsay Willis as KIA in Egypt.
Ada married widower Rev John Calvert at Crookwell in 1924. They had one daughter Edith Partington Calvert, a biology teacher, who married Richard Northcott in Suva, Fiji in 1957.
Edith's daughter says Ada passed away and was buried in Scotland in 1970. (Another Ada Mary Calvert died in Chatswood in 1958)
