Kenneth was the third of five children of Sinclair James McGibbon (born 1875 in Kew, Victoria) and Rettie Paltridge Paterson (born 1880 at Kangaroo Island, South Australia). Sinclair was a Chartered Accountant when he came to Perth in 1894 and established his own company (S J McGibbon and Co) in1898, He married Rettie in 1900 in Perth, where they raised their family. Sinclair an accountant, political fund raiser and tennis administrator, and served as Director and President of numerous Boards, Committees and Clubs.
Kenneth was an Accountant in Perth in 1934 when he married May Isabel Oakley (born 1912 in Perth, WA). In 1943 Kenneth enlisted with the ACMF and was a Lieutenant attached to the 11th Infantry Battalion when he was Discharged in November 1943. The 11th Battalion was the 'City of Perth Regiment' and was the first WA battalion raised for overseas service in WWII. Brother John Frederick Sinclair (Pilot Officer, Service No:427129) and sister Rita Sinclair (RAAF, Service No:105474) also served in WWII.
Kenneth and May lived in Perth, where Kenneth worked as an Accountant until his death in 1967. May died in 1991.
