Discharged in England
The funeral of the late Mr. Thomas Taylor took place at the Boyup Brook cemetery recently; the Rev. J. H. Frary officiating. The late Mr. Taylor had resided in the district since 1920 and owned the well-known property of Rocky Pool. He was 65 years of age. Mr. Taylor was a past president of the Upper Blackwood Agricultural Society and was also an honorary life member of that Society. He was a lieutenant during the first World War, and in the Second World War, commanded the local V.D.C. He was a very keen member of the local sub-branch of the R.S.L., and was buried with military honours.
A number of friends were present at the graveside. Many beautiful floral tributes were received.
