Ron was the youngest of two children of Emerson Peart (born 1890 in Bourke, Victoria) and Ruby Evelyn Crole (born 1894 at Leongatha, Victoria). Emerson was a Farmer, just returned from WWI, when he married Ruby in 1919 at Mirboo in Gippsland, Victoria. The family lived in Ballarat and Melbourne before returning to Mirboo where Emerson was a Farmer.
Ron was eighteen years of age when he enlisted in the RAAF in Melbourne, Victoria in June 1944. He was a Leading Aircraftman (Service No:450144) attached to 111 Air Sea Rescue Flight when he was Discharged in June 1946. His father Emerson (Driver, Service No:10324: WWI and Private, Service No:92107) served in WWI and WWI and Uncle Charles Albert Peart (ACMF, Service No:V16231) served in WWII.
Returning from the War, Ron settled at Mirboo in Gippsland, Victoria where he was a Farmer when he married Teacher Neila Vallance (born 1928 in Ouyen, Victoria) in Mirboo. Ron and Neila raised their family at Mirboo, where Ron was a Farmer. He died in 1975 and Neila died in 2015.
