Hazel Glen Timboon
The City Directory of 1845 - 1948 lists William Hutchinson snr and Milton JW Hutchinson living at Timboon. His cousin, John Matthew Magill, ( Serving abroad ) in writing to his sister, Lucy May Rowe/ Magill asks if he had enlisted and if the family farm “ Hazel Glen “ Timboon had been sold as his aunt had been unwell. By the time this letter arrived, Milton had already enlisted to join his brother, Lieutenant William Reece Hutchinson.

Timboon Connection
Both Milton and William Reece Hutchinson, lived with there parents William Hutchinson and Nell Hutchinson/ Dalton at their parents farm at Timboon. They also spent a deal of time at their grandparents there. They travelled to Melbourne to work and to enlist.
