Lionel Digney
Lionel was born in Timboon, Victoria, Australia and spent a great deal of time there, travelling backwards and forwards from Western Australia with his family a staying for quite large periods of time.

Lionel was born in Timboon, Victoria, where his grandparents both Dalton and Digney were early settlers. Digney's Bridge Road in Timboon is named after his family. His uncle Alf Digney was killed in action in France during WW1. Eventualy the Digney family moved to Western Australia, but maintained ties to The Timboon District.
