Thomas Albert, along with his older brothers,was born in Timboon, Victoria, where both his Digney and Dalton grandparents were early settlers. Digney's Bridge Road in Timboon was named after the family. Eventually he , along with his family, moved to Western Australia, but still maintained close ties with the Timboon Community.
