Add my storyBiography contributed by Ian Fox
According to Birth, Deaths and Marriages Victoria, Charles was born in 1924, and not 1922 as stated on his enlistment papers. But, 21 August was correct.
He served in the Australian Army during WW2 for a 'total effective period' of 1490 days.
Charles married Eleanor Patricia 'Pat' Taylor in 1950, and died in Leongatha in 2011.
