17 Jun 1943 - reported at BRISBANE QLD, and mobilised for dervice. Posted to HMAS Cerberus as Ordinary Seaman: Next of Kin FLORENCE - BATZLOFF (mother)
18 Aug 1943 - posted overseas
31 Aug 1945 - discharged from HMAS Platypus - Repair and Maintenance Vessel. PLATYPUS operated in the Madang, Hollandia and Morotai areas until the end of November 1945.
