Pilot Officer Colin Matheson, of the R.A.F. youngest son of Mr and Mrs. C Matheson, of Blakesley Road, Hurstville, has been reported missing since June 21.
Pilot Officer Matheson was 24. Born in Sydney, he was educated at Sydney Technichal High School and wen tot England in 1938 to join the R.A.F. He was attached to a bomber squadron and was one of six Australian pilots who were personally congratulated by the King for their daring exploits in the first raid over Germany.
