Son of Amos and Charlotte Bellchambers of Bombala, NSW. His brothers, 2372 Lance Corporal Arthur Amos BEellchambers 55th Battalion AIF died of wounds, 1 September 1918 and 3475 Private Claude Leslie Bellchambers, 5th Pioneer Battalion AIF, returned to Australia, 3 July 1919.
