Brian joined the navy on 12/01/1962 where he served for a period of 9 years before being discharged on 11/01/1971. In 1973, some two years after leaving the Navy, Brian joined the RAAF where he served for a further 11 years.
Brian and his brother Kenneth were both percussionist musicians in the Navy.
Kenneth Edward Mansfield #R48169 served from 5/08/1952 - 4/02/1960.
