5th Australian Light Trench Mortar Battery- Australian Infantry (AIF)

He enlisted 28/7/1915 and embarked 2/11/1915 from Sydney New South Wales aboard HMAT A14 Euripides.

He was the son of Thomas Ephraim and Cicely Randle and the brother of Mary, George, William, Martha, Isaac and Jacob Randle. In 1901 they lived at 24 Austin Street and in 1911 at 7 Hazel Grove (both Bulwell, Nottingham) and later at 9 Charles St., Cudworth, Barnsley, England
