My brother
Hywell was born in 1947 in Mayday Hospital,Croydon, Surrey,UK to Ronald Herbert Francis Edwards and Norma Allcock. We all emigrated to Australia in January 1961 when Hywell was 13 years old. In 1964 he joined the Army Apprentice Training School and then transferred to the regular army when he turned 18. In 1967 he went to Vietnam for 1 year. On his return he went on the Seato exercise to Thailand. He left the army in December 1970 and the following June went on a working holiday to the UK. In March 1972 he committed suicide believed to have been PTSD.
