21 October 1916 - Admitted to isolation whilst at sea (venereal disease);
4 November 1916 - Discharged to general population, (total period of treatment for venereal disease: 15 days);
21 November 1916 disembarked Plymouth
23 November 1916 - Marched into No 3 Camp, Parkhouse
4 January 1917 - Moved out to Brightlingsea Engineers Training Depot, Perham Downs
18 March 1917 - Proceeded to France and marched into Australian General Base Depot, Etaples
7 April 1917 - Moved out to field
taken on strength of 7th Field Company Engineers, 8 April 1917;
29 August 1917 - Detached for duty with 1st Anzac Corps Machine Gun Officer
20 September 1917 - Rejoined unit from detachment
17 February 1918 - Proceeded to England on leave
rejoined unit from leave, 8 March 1918; appointed Lance Corporal, 8 June 1918.
6 July 1918 - Admitted to 5th Casualty Clearing Station (gun shot wound, back and abdomen);
