Son of Leolin (Colin) Oxenham and Minnie Mary Oxenham nee McEvoy of Cameron Street, West End, Brisbane, QLD.

Brother of Harold Nelson Oxenham who was killed in Action on 14 November 1916 while serving with the 2nd Pioneer Battalion and has no known grave, his name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial

Commenced return to Australia on 6 September 1919 aboard HT Euripides disembarking on 24 October 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane
