Biography

Lance Corporal Walter Harold Shaw, 924, 23rd Australian Infantry Battalion. Served in the Citizen Military Forces. He served at Gallipoli and the Western Front. He was wounded on 7 December 1916 at the Somme, France and died  on 3 December 1916, age 24. Cemetery: Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, Picardie, France.
