Son of Thomas Ormiston and Christina Ormiston nee Wightman of Dunellan Estate, Logan Road, Brisbane, QLD.

Commenced return to Australia on 19 April 1919 aboard HT Sardinia disembarking on 11 June 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane.

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 22 November 1922 Thomas married Kathleen Ethel Duffy in QLD.
