OBITUARY
MB. ALFRED COWLIN.
The death occurred yesterday of Mr. Alfred Cowlin, of Woodward-street, Edge Hill. He was 60 years of age, and was born in England. Deceased resided in Cairns for many years. He was a returned soldier from the 1914-18 war. Besides his widow he is survived by one daughter, Sergeant. L. F. Cowlin, A.A.M.W.S., AIF., and one son, Craftsman A. D. Cowlin, A.A.M.W.S., A.I.F. The funeral will take place from St. John's Church of England at 9 a.m. today. Members of the R.S.S.A.I.L.A. are invited to attend.
