Lieutenant Margaret Ahern was a member of the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps (RAANC) wth the 8th Field Ambulance based at Vung Tau. She was one of the "Fab Four", the first four women in uniform to be sent to Vietnam in 1967.
Many will remember Lieutenant Margaret Ahern as the face on many posters holding a young Vietnamese child.
