Sister McGregor was the matron of the Port Adelaide Casualty Hospital for 14 years prior to going abroad. On her return she worked at Repatriation Hospital Keswick. She died on the 7 April 1922 at the Memorial hospital North Adelaide. She was accorded a military funeral the following Sunday. the Returned Army Sister sent a wreath.
