Son of James O'Donohue and Elizabeth O'Donohue nee Aspinal of Boundary Street, Kalgoorlie, WA formerly of Harrow, Victoria.
Brother of James O'Donohue who returned to Australia on 10 June 1920 having served with the 28th Battalion and Maurice O'Donohue who was killed in action on 25 April 1915 while serving with the 11th Light Horse Regiment and is buried in Baby 700, ANZAC, Row D, Grave 23
Commenced return to Australia on 3 September 1919 aboard HT Baramah disembarking on 17 October 1919
