Archibald Reinmuth NEVIN was born in Illawarra, Tasmania on 19th August, 1892
His parents were Robert Hemphill NEVIN & Ada Maria REINMUTH
Prior to enlisting in WW1 on 20th August, 1914 he had served in the CMF for 6 years & 9 months in the 20th Light Horse and was promoted to Lieutenant on 27th November, 1914
He embarked from Melbourne on the HMAT Ulysses on 27th October, 1915 with the 15th Infantry Battalion, 11th Reinforcements
Archibald was Killed in Action in Belgium on 23rd September, 1916 - no known grave - his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial
