Robert (Bob) served in the 3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment and served in Vietnam in 1968. Robert was a signalman with the Mortar Platoon in the Support Company. Robert served in numerous engagements including FSB Anderson and at both FSB Coral and FSB Balmoral.
