Kenneth Edmund BLAXALL was born in Hornsey, England in 1890 - his Commonwealth War Graves record states he was a native of Crouch End, UK

His parents were Edmund Arthur BLAXALL & Evelyn SALES of 66 Park Rd, Brentwood, Essex, England
 
He was killed in action at Passchendaele aged 27.

He is remembered on the family grave in Brentwood along with his soldier brother who also fell. He was Second Lieutenant Harold Gurney Blaxall, aged 22,  who served with the 7th Bn. Middlesex Regiment. He was killed less than a week earlier on 8th October 1917.
