Enlisted: October 16, 1916, Picton, Embarked Sydney per HMAT A29 "Suevic", November 11, 1916.
Killed in action October 12, 1917 by shellfire, 2nd battle of Passchendaele, Belgium. Missing seven months before date and place of death confirmed - aged 31 years.
