Brother of Howard Leland Youds who was killed in action on 30 July 1915 while serving with the 10th Battalion. Buried in the Shell Green Cemetery, Plot11, Row G, Grave 4

Commenced return to Australia on 3 February 1915 aboard HT Kyarra disembarking on the 11 March 1915 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide
