The Minmi Roll of Honour has 79 names inscribed of those who returned home from The Great War.
The 2nd name inscribed is Private Arthur Bartlett, 2nd Battalion (Reg No-599), single bushman from Minmi, New South Wales and "Maldon", 7 Colvin Avenue, Carlton, N.S.W., who died on the 1st November 1977, age-87, laid to rest or cremated on the 5th November 1977, place unknown.

Born at Richmond, Surrey, England between 1889 and 1890 to Joshua and Martha Bartlett from 4 Elizabeth Cottages, Kew Gardens, Surrey, England, Arthur enlisted on the 27th August 1914, age 25 years, at Randwick, N.S.W.
Unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board Transport A23 Suffolk on the 18th October 1914.
An Original Anzac.
Wounded in action - 25.4.1915 (GSW right arm, dangerously ill).
Admitted to the Bombay Presidency Hospital Unit at Alexandria, Egypt, 30.4.1915.
Amputation of right arm, no date.
Discharged from hospital 28.6.1915.
Invalided to Australia 3.7.1915.
Received all 3 War Medals.
Mr. Bartlett’s name has only been inscribed on the Minmi Roll of Honour.
