My Dad

Arthur William Lawrence Nelson Larry to friends and family
Dad to me
We had a very interesting life 11 homes in 20 years as a family .
From 1951 Ballarat to 1971 Townsville and in between nearly
every state in australia and Penang for 2 years .
Looking back what a fantastic life it was dad worked hard
And made a safe and loving home for us all with the help
Of mum of course .
Anzac day was very special to him my dad has gone now but my
memories will be with me everyday .
Dad did not speak of his family very often his father died when he was 3 years old
i ask about his mum he said she as perfect
He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters went to school at Christian Brothers High School
left when he was 13 years and 8 months.
Before he joined the Army he worked as a cleaner at the Plaza Theatre later as an
assistant projectionist he will always be remembered.
