    Next of kin given as his sister Melinda Powis of Athhlone, Ireland later untraceable. A Mrs May Cross nee Hilliard of Waterloo, NSW who was named as his beneficiary in his will  later claimed to living as Michael's wife even though she was still married to her previous husband

    Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

    Served with the Royal Irish Lancers for about 12 years including the Boer War And Zulu Rebellion
