Son of Richard Matthew Quittenton and Mary Eliazabeth Quittenton of Emerald, Victoria.

During 1902c George married Linda Eveline Bevan in Victoria. Linda passed away during 1908c.

Next of kin given as his son Jasper G.B. Quittenton of Mont Albert Road, Canterbury, Victoria.

Commenced return to Australia on 31 July 1918 aboard HT Malta disembarking on 21 August 1918
