FUNERALS.
The Late Mr. E. R. Colledge.
The funeral of the late Mr. Ernest Rockingham Colledge (Rock), of the Public Works Department Perth, and of Vailima, 11 Parry street, Swanbourne, took place yesterday morning when his remains were interred in the Church of England portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery. Canon W. Patrick, of St. Hilda's Church, North Perth, conducted the service at the graveside. Mr. Colledge, who was the second son of the late Captain John Milburn and Frances Colledge, was the first male child born at Rockingham Beach. After completing his education he joined the staff of the Public Works Department, in which service he had remained ever since. Mr. Colledge saw service in the Great War and left with the original 44th Battalion, serving in France until the Armistice. He was a member of the Civil Service Club and a past president. Mr. Colledge was of quiet disposition and highly respected.
