Mr. John Owen Critchley was born at Callington thirty-seven years ago, and completed his education at Peterborough High School. He is a returned soldier, and on his return from active service joined the Railway Department, and has been stationed at Peterborough ever since. Immediately on returning from the war, he renewed his activities in the Labor movement. He has been president of Peterborough Local Committee and is now secretary, and also assistant secretary of the Grey Electorate Committee. He is also a Labor councillor in the Peterborough municipality, and this is his fourth year of office.
