Wounded in action
A well-known Townsville lad Noel Joseph Magill, son of Mrs Winifred Marjorie Magill of North Ward, Townsville has been reported by Army Headquarters as wounded in action in Korea, and evacuated to 60 Indian Field Ambulance on May 10, suffering from mortar blast injuring to his right eye and a ruptured right ear drum.
Private Magill was an employee of Magnetic Motors before enlisting for Korea.
