Son of Michael O'Donnell and Catherine O'Donnell nee Colan of Bull's Creek, SA.

Next of kin given as his brother Michael O'Donnell of  Wellington Lodge, Wellington, SA.

Commenced return to Australia on 15 November 1919 aboard HT Ypiringa disembarking on 1 January 1920
