Frank was the eldest of seven children of Aron Noble (b1879 in Oatlands, Tasmania) and Mona Mabel Barker (b1889 in Port Frederick, Tasmania). Aron served with the 2nd Tasmanian Imperial Bushmen (Private; Service No:301) and in 1908 he and Mona married in Penguin Tasmania. Aron was a Farmer in Penguin and Sisters Creek.
Frank was a Labourer in Montumana, Tasmania and in 1929 married Lydia (Jean) Jeanette Barker (b1907 in South Rianna, Tasmania) - Jean was a School Monitor. Frank and Jean settled in Montumana where Frank was a Railways Labourer (TGR) when he enlisted in the ACMF in May 1942 (Service No:T5062). Frank and Jean later moved to Wynyard, Tasmania where Frank worked as a Mill Hand. He died in 1986.
