Personal Stories
My grandfather.
Samuel Harrison was a sailor for most of his life. He served in the merchant navy during World War I (at least). He came from Nottingham, England, where he was born.
He settled in Williamstown, Victoria, with his wife Jessie May. They had five children (including my mother), between 1907 and 1930.
He passed away in 1966, and is laid to rest at Williamstown General Cemetery.
