Private William Blair, 17th Battalion, wounded on August 27, is the only son of Mr. R. J. Blair, of Lilian-street, Campsie—he is 19 years of age, and received his education at Fort Street High School. Previous to enlistment he was employed in the North Coast Steamship Company.
