Beresford Terence (Tod) SLOAN was wounded at QUINN's post on the 29th of May 1915 and was repatriated back to Rosemount Hospital Brisbane.
He rejoined the 13th Reinforcements 15th Battalion and returned to the front.
He went on and was awarded a Military Medal in September 1917 at Zonnebecke, returning to Australia in 1919 as an Officer (Lieutenant)

Biography
Reattested 25 Nov 1915.
Embarkation Roll (www.awm.gov.au) shows Pte. Sloan embarking from Melbourne on 22 Dec 1914 aboard the HMAT Ceramic A40. He was wounded at Quinns Post Gallipoli and returned to Australia to convalesce.
He then re-embarks from Brisbane with the 15th Infantry Battalion on 03 Jan 1916 aboard HMAT Kyarra. He rejoined his battalion at the front.
He went on to win the Military Medal in September 1917 at Zonnebeke, and rose through the ranks to Lieutenant before he returned to Australia at cessation of hostilities in 1919.
