AIF Service Number 2184.
Enlisted 15th April 1915 in Linton VIC. Served in Gallipoli, Pozières, Passchendaele & Egypt.
Promoted to 5th BTN Lance Sergeant 19/09/1917.
Wounded 14/10/1917 - Left forearm ulna nerve severed, contraction of 4th and 5th fingers. Transferred 30/01/1917 to Melbourne via "Euripdes" for Medical discharge 14/09/1918.
