"...6130 Private Bert Stewart Hansen, 25 Battalion, of Gympie, Qld. A farmer prior to enlisting in October 1916 Pte Hansen embarked from Brisbane with the 17th Reinforcements on board HMAT Marathon (A75) on 27 October 1916. He arrived in France on 6 April 1917 and was killed in action on 3 May 1917 at the Second Battle of Bullecourt. He was 23 years of age." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
