He served under the alias of Edward Cameron.  Edward was a Gallipoli veteran, where he was wounded in action on two seperate occasions.

Served as Edward Cameron. Address at the time of enlistment was given as C/- G Page of Invermay Grove, Auburn, Victoria

Son of Engelhard Veraguth and Mary Veraguth nee Page of Sturt Street, Adelaide, SA. Engelhard arrived in Australia from Switzerland.

Apprenticed to W. Barrett of Walkerville, SA for three years.

Commenced return to Australia on 9 September 1916 aboard HS Kanowna disembarking on 28 October 1916
