William Emanuel WALLMAN was born on 27th June, 1890 in Adelaide, South Australia as William Emanuel McBRIDE

His mother was listed as Annabella McBRIDE - she married Emil Albert WALLMAN on 5th November, 1898 in St Johns Rectory Adelaide, SA

He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria on 24th October, 1916 and embarked with the 23rd Infantry Battalion, 19th Reinforcements from Melbourne on 11th May 1917 on the HMAT Ascanius

William was Killed in Action in Belgium on 22nd March, 1918 and is buried in the Berks Cemetery Extension
